Living in San Francisco is like the gift that keeps on giving. When the weather’s nice and time permits, a wine and food filled heaven is only an hour drive away. On Saturday, my mother and I drove up to meet friends for a brunch at the Sonoma Mission Inn’s Santé restaurant. Afterwards, we headed to Healdsburg and checked out Shed. Shed is this amazing farm-to-table café and store that is a great reminder to anyone how sacred of an experience food can be.
After walking around Healdsburg, we made our way to St. Helena for some shopping and wine at one of our favorite wineries, VGS Chateau Potelle. VGS (which stands for Very Good Shit) is owned and operated by a frenchman who came to Napa in the 80’s and brought philosophies and traditions of French winemaking to the Napa Valley.
After a lovely flight at VGS, we headed to Darioush for their first ever Estates Dinner, which featured Chardonnays and Merlots. The estate, which features Persian influences reminiscent of the founders’ home country, is always a visually stunning treat.
Place setting and halibut appetizer at Darioush winery’s first annual wine maker’s dinner, a beautiful intimate setting of 25 guests.
It also made a killer backdrop to show off my everlasting obsession that is midi dresses. Nothing is as easy nor looks as chic as throwing on one of these dresses and a few simple accessories! To get this look, check out Faithfull the Brand and The Reformation. Both stores have amazing, timeless collections of midi and maxi dresses that are perfect for (almost) any occasion.
