Yesterday we explored all over Kensington & Chelsea, Notting Hill, and Camden. London is such a beautiful city with so much history and individualism. While I come to London at least once a year, this trip has already reshaped my understanding, interest, and appreciation for this sick town! Some of yesterday’s highlights are below!
The Churchill Arms. We came just for the photo op, but I was so excited to snap the contrasting double decker with the beautiful flowers. Was so quintessential London I was singing The Smiths for the rest of the day!
Notting Hill houses.
Ottolenghi. We stopped in for a bite because my mom recognized it from a few cookbooks she has! It was a beautiful and delicious brunch!
Wild at Heart. Lovely little florist in Notting Hill.
Ukai Sushi Portabello. It was 2 pm… certainly time for a light libation. The bar here was so pretty it almost made up for the bartender messing up my old fashioned!
Amy Winehouse exhibit, Jewish Museum in Camden. As a admirer of both Amy and the #27CLUB, seeing this exhibit was a no-brainer. Unfortunately, we arrived a bit late and were limited in what we could see. Nevertheless, the visuals were amazing and Camden has carried on a phenomenal musician’s legacy.
